As a Public Procurement Project Manager, you lead projects from start to finish, from the concept phase through to final delivery. You represent a client and act as the central point of contact for all involved parties.
What you do
- You draw up a program of requirements and conduct the necessary discussions for this.
- You appoint an architect and an engineering firm for the technical elaboration of the project.
- In consultation with the architect and the engineering firm, you compile a detailed specification document.
- You publish the specification document for tender and evaluate the incoming offers.
- You guide the award phase and draw up detailed reports.
- You organize weekly site meetings with all involved parties.
Profile
- You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Architecture.
- You have experience as a Project Manager, preferably within the public sector.
- Knowledge of the Public Procurement Act is a significant advantage.
- You are a good listener and understand the needs of various stakeholders.
- You are critical and challenge your team on technical choices.
- You possess communication skills and are able to make decisions quickly.
