What you do
- Consult with Project Managers and Domain Directors about new changes within the existing application landscape
- Discuss possible solution directions and their consequences for existing applications and integrations
- Map out technical impact and dependencies
- Advise on the best fitting solution
- Work on Solution Designs for new projects
- Coordinate your design with technical and functional application management and the Enterprise Architect
- Translate architectural frameworks into solutions that are not only technically sound but also manageable and future-proof
- Critically review proposed technical solutions from suppliers against the architecture
- Discuss any risks or deviations with suppliers
- Dive into complex integration issues where multiple applications need to collaborate
- Ensure all involved parties know what is needed
- Elaborate your findings and choices in the Solution Design
- Coordinate follow-up steps with involved colleagues to ensure projects and changes align well with the rest of the IT landscape

- A strong and clear discussion partner for IT and the business
