Within a Dissolution Sciences team, part of a global analytical development organization, you will support the development of innovative medicines. You will design, develop, and optimize dissolution and release methods for various dosage forms. You combine scientific expertise with hands-on laboratory work and collaborate closely with colleagues from different disciplines and international locations.
What you will do.
- Design, plan, and execute dissolution studies for new medicines
- Develop and optimize dissolution and in vitro release methods
- Support biopharmaceutical strategies to translate in vitro data into patient exposure predictions
- Contribute to the development of clinically relevant QC methods and specifications
- Participate in laboratory automation initiatives
- Deepen mechanistic understanding of dissolution processes
- Apply data analysis and modeling methods to further expand scientific insights
- Collaborate with experts in formulation development, pharmaceutical sciences, clinical pharmacology, quality, and regulatory affairs
- Prepare and review technical and scientific documentation
- Represent the Dissolution Sciences team in international and cross-functional projects
Profile
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, or a relevant field OR a Master's degree supplemented with at least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Strong scientific curiosity and quick to learn new techniques and concepts
- Work independently and take initiative
- Feel comfortable in multidisciplinary teams
- Communicate fluently in English, both orally and in writing
- Knowledge of Dutch is a plus or willingness to develop it further
Desired skills.
- Experience with one or more of the following areas:
- Dissolution testing (QC or biorelevant)
- Dissolution method development
- Statistical analysis, DoE, MVA, or data modeling
- Laboratory automation
- Equipment qualification
- GMP and analytical chemistry
