The Medical Information Management (MIM) department plays a crucial role in the development and maintenance of digital information provision within a public sector healthcare organization. A complex, dynamic, and meaningful environment that is important for delivering good and continuous care.
MIM consists of four sections: information and data management, functional management & support, information security & privacy protection, and project & portfolio management. Together, they implement an integrated information provision for the healthcare chain, optimally supporting the registration, exchange, and analysis of data.
The functional management & support (FBO) section is responsible for the operational support of information provisions. This includes both operational support for handling needs and maintaining generic IT/IV facilities, as well as the development and functional management of the business-critical applications of the healthcare organization.
What you will do. As a Functional Manager, you will ensure that the digital information provision continues to function, is user-friendly, and meets the needs of the professionals.
- Functionally managing and improving the information system for occupational health services, corporate medicine, and insurance medicine.
- Serving as the first point of contact for user questions, incidents, and change requests regarding the information system.
- Guiding professionals in using the information system correctly and translating user wishes into concrete adjustments or improvements.
- Supporting projects in setting up, testing, and implementing new functionalities and functional expansions.
What they ask
- HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level, with at least a completed MBO (intermediate vocational education) degree, preferably in healthcare, ICT, or information management.
- Current knowledge and several years of experience as a functional manager or application manager.
- Knowledge and experience within occupational health services or insurance medicine or with the Xpert Suite information system is a definite plus.
- Knowledge of BiSL, ITIL, or other management standards is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented attitude.
- Affinity with the context of a public organization.
