As an S&OE Lead, you contribute to optimal order book management and fulfilling the customer delivery promise, amidst a dynamic transformation. You play an important role in optimizing Sales & Operations Execution processes for the BeNe region. You bridge the gap between strategic planning and daily operations. You ensure a smooth process from demand forecasting to final delivery and provide clarity on inventory position and development.
You lead and improve S&OE processes, directly contributing to higher efficiency, lower costs, and optimal customer satisfaction. You collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Production, and Finance to align forecasts, manage inventory effectively, and resolve operational challenges. You also analyze KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and drive optimization projects.
What you do
As an S&OE Lead, you are the central point of contact for Sales & Operations Execution, both in terms of process and in finding optimal solutions for situations where supply and demand do not perfectly align. You foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and cross-functional collaboration. You lead weekly S&OE meetings, facilitate discussions, and ensure that decisions are effectively made and executed.
- Improve service levels by closely coordinating and collaborating with Sales, Demand and Supply Planning, Customer Service
- Plan and optimize BeNe inventories to ensure service levels are maintained with minimal working capital requirements
- Lead and optimize S&OE processes: oversee the entire S&OE cycle, from aligning supply and demand to inventory management and order fulfillment
- Prepare and facilitate weekly S&OE meetings: ensure all relevant data and topics are covered for effective decision-making
- Follow up on action points to ensure timely execution and resolve any issues
- Effectively connect S&OE inputs and outputs to the S&OP cycle for the medium and long term
- Coordinate with the cross-border SPOC by acting as the primary point of contact for cluster-wide S&OE matters and escalating any issues to the BeNe S&OE meeting
- Prioritize orders according to the agreed plan, optimally balancing customer needs and operational capacities
- Monitor performance and analyze data to establish and track key S&OE KPIs to identify trends, root causes of problems, and improvement potential

What they ask
- A Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, (Technical) Business Administration, Logistics Management, or another relevant business/logistics field
- Several years of experience in a similar S&OE, S&OP, or supply chain (planning) role within a manufacturing environment
- Analytical, data-driven, and able to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic advice, always keeping the customer central to decision-making
- In-depth knowledge of S&OE processes and best practices. You proactively identify areas for improvement and drive initiatives to optimize performance within a complex and dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. You smoothly interact with both commercial and supply chain functions
- Excellent command of ERP systems, advanced planning systems, and/or business intelligence tools. You utilize existing dashboards and identify additional reporting needs. Experience with SAP is a requirement
- Professional proficiency in Dutch and English is a must
