What you do
- Prepare, develop, implement, and monitor organization-wide business operations policy.
- Provide strategic and tactical direction for finance, ICT and information provision, housing, facility matters, and childcare planning.
- Connect disciplines from central policy for efficient and future-proof deployment.
- Oversee the whole, ask the right questions, and bring together different perspectives for clear choices.
- Professionalize financial management, including a robust and coherent budgeting process for both education and childcare.
- Further develop the allocation and budgeting model.
- Pay attention to housing, cost allocation, and better utilization of data and management information, in collaboration with internal and external experts.
- Translate developments and complex information into concrete scenarios and clear advice as a strategic advisor to the Executive Board.
- Serve as an important discussion partner for cluster/strategic directors and the operational director of childcare.
- Connect what is happening at the locations with organization-wide policy.
- Lead employees at the executive office with genuine attention, space, and trust, combined with clarity and decisiveness.
Profile
- HBO+/university level of work and thinking.
- Managerial experience within business operations processes.
- Combination of a financial and business administration foundation with analytical and conceptual ability.
- Decisive and results-oriented, while keeping an eye on what is needed at the various locations.
- Approachable and strong communicator as a leader.
- Respect for the Christian identity and a curious attitude.
- Easily switch between strategic, tactical, and operational levels.
Preferences.
- Experience within primary education, childcare, or another social organization is a plus.
- Curiosity to discover similarities and differences between the education and childcare sectors and strengthen coherence.
