Employment Consultant specific target group Youth
As an Employment Consultant, you support young people up to 27 years old in their reintegration into society and the labor market. The main task is to activate people and make them 'work-ready' together with our trajectory partners and colleagues. You work with the client towards results, stimulating self-reliance and aligning with their wishes and ambitions.
You are also able to convey the message that not all wishes can be realized and that after a certain period, every job must be accepted, while maintaining motivation.
What you will do.
- Make agreements with the client about targeted follow-up actions.
- Encourage the client to increase self-reliance.
- Work with your client towards results.
- Convey less pleasant messages while maintaining client motivation.
- Deploy external trajectory partners.
- Collaborate with an in-house trainer.
- Match the client with vacancies together with colleagues from the Employer Service Point.
- Make clear agreements with the client about expectations and ensure compliance.
- Take measures if the client deliberately fails to comply with agreements.
- Make good agreements with reintegration partners and monitor them.
Profile
You are not alone in the process of 'making work-ready' and 'mediating for work'. You work in a team with experienced colleagues who support you. You also have the flexibility to engage external trajectory partners. You motivate clients with an enthusiastic conversational style combined with professionalism. You do not shy away from taking measures if the client deliberately fails to comply with agreements. You are a director, coach, and sparring partner for your client and colleagues.
Your persuasiveness, creativity, independence, and flexible working style inspire both your clients and colleagues. In a team with a pleasant and informal working atmosphere, you share your expertise and skills and learn from your colleagues' knowledge. Responsibility, teamwork, planning, and organizing are second nature to you.
What they ask
- Minimum 5 years of work experience at a government organization in the role of Employment Consultant specifically focused on young people, gained in the last 7 years.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience working with Civision Samenlevingszaken and Djuma in the last 2 years.
- Independently filling and modifying work processes, with knowledge of how Djuma works and how to apply the link between Civision and Djuma.
- Experience in counseling interviews focused on your target group.
- Experience in managing your own caseload of at least 60 clients.
- Agreement with the stated secondment condition.
Preferences.
- Preferably, previous experience gained at a similar government organization.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience with Civision Samenlevingszaken, where independently filling and modifying work processes was no longer than 1 year ago.
