What you will do.
- Conduct consultations with clients facing various physical, psychological, and social challenges.
- Investigate how health complaints affect functioning and assess what possibilities someone still has regarding work and participation.
- Take into account medical aspects, social context, and personal circumstances of the client in your assessment.
- Work within the domain of social security and delve into laws and regulations such as the Sickness Benefits Act (ZW), the Work and Income (Capacity for Work) Act (WIA/WGA), and the Unemployment Insurance Act (WW).
- Prepare socio-medical reports and advise on capacity for work and employment opportunities based on interviews, medical information, and professional judgment.
- Daily assessment of complex issues from different perspectives.
Profile
- Graduated basic doctor and possesses a valid BIG registration.
- Interest in Occupational Health and Social Security.
- Strong communication skills and good analytical ability.
- Empathetic, curious, and solution-oriented.
- Interested in viewing health from a broader societal perspective.
