Coordinator Social Casework and Special Tasks

South HollandHybrid36 hours/week<3months

The assignment is carried out within the Social Domain of a municipal organization. The position is organizationally placed within the Health and Social Support department, but the activities are explicitly cross-departmental and sometimes cross-domain. The multidisciplinary team is deployed for complex cases where multiple living areas, legal frameworks, and involved parties converge. Depending on the case, expertise from various parts of the organization is brought together.

The multidisciplinary team is not a hierarchically organized team; participating professionals remain hierarchically under their own team. The coordinator ensures cohesion, process management, prioritization, progress, and clear responsibilities within the joint case approach. The youth team focuses on young people transitioning from minority to majority, where various forms of support and regulations come together.

Within this team, the coordinator also has a substantive and process-driven steering role without hierarchical responsibility for the participating professionals. The special tasks directors work on complex and urgent issues, including activities related to the homeless point, emergency housing, the Burial Act, and other special cases for which a regular route is not always available.

The coordinator thus forms a connecting link between implementation, management, policy, and chain partners and contributes to the further development, positioning, and safeguarding of the multidisciplinary team, the youth team, and the special tasks directors within an organization that is constantly evolving. Due to the need for temporary reinforcement, additional capacity is required for the coordination of these teams and directors.

The deployment is necessary to ensure the continuity and quality of daily activities and complex case management, while also contributing to the further development and safeguarding of the working methods of these components.
