Maintenance Technician

You will work for a large, internationally operating organization within the food industry.
- The production environment is highly automated and features complex mechanical and technical installations. Reliability is essential; a technical malfunction can immediately halt production. Quality takes precedence over speed. There is room for careful execution and personal development.
- You will work within a close-knit technical team where knowledge sharing, asking questions, and collaboration are important.
What you do
- Responsible for planned maintenance, revisions, and incidental malfunctions of mechanical installations.
- Performing planned revisions and maintenance work.
- Revising and exchanging pumps, centrifuges, and other equipment.
- Working on locks and other mechanical installations.
- Replacing bearings, belts, and other wear parts.
- Analyzing and resolving incidental malfunctions.
- Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings.
- Identifying wear and potential technical problems.
- Contributing to practical and sustainable solutions.
- Reporting activities in SAP PM and updating technical documentation.
- Using technical insight to understand malfunctions and actively contribute to solutions.
What they ask
- A completed MBO level 3 education, for example, Mechanical Engineering, First Mechanic Mechatronics, or similar.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a production environment.
- A solid mechanical foundation and experience with maintenance and/or revision.
- You can read mechanical drawings.
- Experience with a maintenance management system; SAP PM is a plus.
- NEN 3140 VP or willingness to obtain it.
- Good command of the Dutch language.
- Candidates with other technical backgrounds are also welcome, provided they have demonstrable experience with revising, repairing, or maintaining machines and equipment.
