You will work on secondment as a Mechanical Engineering Specialist at a water utility company. You will contribute to the future-proofing of vital infrastructure and collaborate closely with enthusiastic colleagues.
What you will do.
- You are the point of contact for mechanical process and building installations within the Infra-expertise team.
- You ensure that pumps, pipelines, and installations for drinking water supply remain reliable and efficient.
- You monitor the quality, safety, and continuity of these vital installations.
- You develop and execute maintenance plans.
- You manage external technical parties and maintenance contracts.
- You supervise the execution and delivery of projects.
- You coach colleagues and advise on maintenance policy and potential improvements.
- You work on both monodisciplinary and multidisciplinary projects, collaborating closely with colleagues from electrical engineering, asset management, and operations.
What they ask
- Completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience with complex process and building installations
- Demonstrable experience in managing external technical parties
- Strong communication skills and ability to connect
- Experience in knowledge sharing and coaching colleagues
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment screening (certificate of good conduct, diploma and identity check)
