An organization works for grid operators, water companies, and public authorities. You ensure that residents understand what is happening and can contribute to projects affecting an entire region, such as the expansion of the electricity grid and the renewal of drinking water networks.
What you will do.
- Advise executives, project leaders, and environmental managers on message, timing, and channel.
- Write resident letters, web texts, newsletters, and social media content, using Canva and AI.
- Present at information evenings and participation processes.
- Monitor developments in the local environment, media, and politics to adjust in a timely manner.
Profile
- At least five years of work experience as a communication advisor, with a government organization, utility company, or in public spaces.
- HBO or university level, for example in communication, journalism, or psychology.
- Native Dutch language proficiency and the ability to make complex subjects understandable for residents.
- Experience with infrastructure, the Environmental Act (Omgevingswet), or participation is a plus.
