As a Quality Improvement Officer, you will play an important role in this: you monitor what works well, identify areas for improvement, and help to sustainably embed improvements. You will be part of the Quality team of 6 employees and work directly with the QA/QC Manager and various colleagues, each with their own expertise. Your focus will be on quality improvement and assurance.
What you will do.
- You will maintain and improve the FSSC 22000 quality system and ensure that agreements remain well embedded in practice.
- You will analyze processes, identify improvement opportunities, and translate these into concrete actions.
- You will guide audits together with the Quality Manager, including certification, customer, and government authority audits.
- You will help to implement improvements and changes within Quality in a positive and pragmatic way.
- You will make quality information understandable and practical through training, toolboxes, and internal communication.
- You will regularly liaise with production and other departments and help to increasingly build quality into a shared responsibility within the organization.
- You will report directly to the QA/QC Manager.
Profile
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, for example, food technology, food sciences, bio-engineering, or industrial sciences.
- You have knowledge of quality systems within food. Experience with FSSC 22000, HACCP, BRC, or IFS is a significant asset.
- You already have at least initial relevant experience in quality within a business environment.
- You communicate fluently in Dutch and English.

- You enjoy collaborating and also take responsibility independently.
- You know how to get colleagues on board without making quality unnecessarily complex.
