Lab Technician Quality

This is a temporary position within the Chemistry QC section of a pharmaceutical company. Chromatographic, spectroscopic, and wet-chemical techniques are used to control the quality of active substances. The work follows established procedures and GMP guidelines, with room for improvement. There are short lines of communication with colleagues within QC, QA, and SHE.

What you will do. You will perform routine and non-routine analyses and report the results. Additionally, you will verify colleagues' outcomes and contribute to laboratory improvements. Working according to GMP is the starting point.

  • Perform routine and non-routine analytical tests using chromatographic, spectroscopic, and wet-chemical techniques
  • Report analysis results according to applicable guidelines
  • Verify test results from colleagues
  • Identify and address opportunities for improvement in the laboratory
  • Follow the deviation process and contribute to CAPA proposals
  • Participate in the Tier meeting
  • Instruct and guide colleagues where necessary
  • Work according to GMP guidelines and contribute to a safe working environment

Profile

  • A completed MBO (MLO) education in chemistry or biochemistry, or a completed HBO education in a similar field
  • Good knowledge of multiple analytical techniques, such as HPLC, GC, UV, and Karl Fischer titration
  • Experience in a QC laboratory is a plus
  • Accurate and quality-conscious, with a proactive attitude
  • Willingness to guide new colleagues and share your knowledge
  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages
