For a large enterprise environment, an organization is looking for an experienced Technical Architect. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing technical architectures within various technology domains. You will ensure that solutions align with the enterprise architecture and contribute to a stable, secure, and high-performing IT environment.
This is a long-term assignment within a complex enterprise environment, suitable for senior infrastructure architects, cloud architects, security architects, and technical architects with experience in large enterprise environments.
What you do
- Design and implement architecture guidelines and technical standards
- Advise on technology choices based on functional and business requirements
- Integrate performance, high availability, and disaster recovery into architectural designs
- Validate solution designs and monitor the technological roadmap
- Provide input for business cases, budgets, and technical specifications
- Evaluate technical offers and proposals
- Proactively formulate improvements regarding the stability, maintainability, and performance of the IT landscape
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders
- Monitor technological evolutions and research new technologies
What they ask
- Master's degree or equivalent by experience
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience as a Technical Architect
- Experience within large-scale IT environments with at least 100,000 endpoints
- Knowledge of PM² or comparable project methodologies
- Certification such as MCSA, MCSE, or MCSD is a plus
- Excellent knowledge of Dutch or French and professional knowledge of English
Technical knowledge. Strong expertise in several of the following domains:
- Active Directory
- ADFS
- Azure Entra ID
- Exchange
- PKI and certificate management
- SMTP
- IAM solutions such as TrustBuilder and SAP IDM
- Networking and TCP/IP
- Cloud platforms
- Automation
- SAP environments
- PowerShell and VBScript scripting
- Databases, infrastructure, and security architecture
Desired competencies.
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with stakeholder management at technical, business, and management levels
- Ability to work independently and set priorities

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Thorough knowledge of security processes, policies
