Care Content Coordinating Supervisor Child, Youth and Family

DrentheHybrid36 hours/week<3months

A care organization helps people with intellectual and/or psychological disabilities lead as normal a life as possible. The focus is on what is possible. The organization has establishments in the northern provinces, spread across more than 200 locations. Collaboration between clients, their personal network, and the professional is central.

The residential location is under development and accommodates young people between 10 and 18 years old with a (mild) intellectual disability and additional (behavioral) problems. These young people function at a lower cognitive and socio-emotional developmental level. They are verbally strong, often have attachment issues and a burdened past. Many have a complex network.

They find stability in structure and reliable supervisors and often exhibit difficult-to-understand behavior, stemming from trauma and attachment issues. At the same time, they bring a lot of humor and energy.

The organization offers a safe and warm environment with a fixed daily structure, aiming to be an unconditional home for the young people. Each young person has their own bedroom; toilet facilities and the common living room are shared. During the day, the young people go to school or day activities.

The team is enthusiastic and dynamic, and team members feel supported by each other. Investments are made in the team with training, team building, video interaction guidance, and intervision. The organization works from the Triple-C vision, focused on promoting attachment and responding to the underlying needs of the young person, supplemented with other methodologies and interventions.
