Civil Project Engineer

You will be part of the engineering department that manages and realizes CAPEX investment projects.

• You will be co-responsible for project-related aspects of new and/or existing installations, under the guidance of Project Managers.
• The main task is to guide and execute projects, from the initiation phase through to the execution phase.
• You ensure a smooth process and delivery in line with project description, planning, and budget.
• Projects are mainly within civil constructions, but mechanical installations, piping, and process installations may also be involved in a non-ferrous metallurgical environment.
• You are co-responsible for both new installations and optimizations of existing installations, ensuring projects are realized according to the defined scope, planning, budget, and quality requirements.

What you will do.

• You co-manage project folders for each ongoing project.
• You perform necessary budget calculations within the civil discipline and ensure the realization of required concept plans and, if applicable, execution plans.
• You review calculations and execution plans, technical datasheets, and calculation notes provided by third-party contractors.
• You prepare detailed specifications, tender documents, bills of quantities, and measurement statements for estimations, quotation requests, and orders.
• You can prepare and analyze 'bidtabs' (quotation evaluations).
• You monitor timing, scope, and budget within the civil discipline (civil engineering/steel construction).
