Youth worker with a focus on girls' work
In this versatile role, you will work as a youth worker, with a focus on girls' work and a specific target group. You will be visibly present in schools and in the neighborhood, supporting young people in discovering their talents and strengthening their self-reliance. Additionally, you will provide information sessions in primary and secondary schools and work preventively on themes such as peer pressure, school dropout, and safety.
What you will do.
- Guide girls aged 10 to 21 in organizing their own activities.
- Discuss important themes.
- Offer both group-oriented and individual support to help young people develop and receive guidance tailored to their needs.
Profile
- Energetic social worker who knows how to motivate and connect with girls.
- Visible in schools and capable of providing individual guidance.
- Several years of experience as a youth worker, girls' worker, or in a similar role.
- Social MBO or HBO diploma allowing registration with Registerplein.
- Flexible availability, at least two evenings a week and occasionally on weekends.
- Daring, energy, and curiosity.
- Easily approach young people and have an eye for the environment.
- Able to adapt well to new collaborations, both internal and external.
