Work in an environment where experience, hospitality, and entertainment are central. This role is for an assistant manager at an entertainment organization. The workplace is a key location. You will work within the operational team and have additional responsibilities, including HR-related tasks. Together with the operational team and the location manager, you ensure hospitable and efficient operations.
The team consists of 70 to 80 colleagues, mainly part-timers, working as supervisors, service employees, or cleaners. You support the location manager, collaborate with two other assistant managers, and guide supervisors and service employees.

- Lead supervisors and manage the entire operational team

- Ensure efficient operations and manage costs
- Participate in daily operations
- Create schedules and manage leave planning
- Conduct performance reviews
- Recruit, select, and train new employees
- Maintain an overview and respond to busy periods
What they ask We are looking for a people manager who is energized by leading and coaching a team, and who also enjoys participating in on-the-floor operations.
- At least 1 year of management experience, preferably within the leisure market, hotels, casinos
- Flexible with working hours (day, evening, and weekend)
- Minimum age of 21 (due to hospitality license)
- Customer-oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Commercial insight
- Ability to maintain an overview during busy periods and make decisions
- Fluent in Dutch
