The Technical Architect is responsible for designing, realizing, and monitoring the technical architecture of the platform. The architect ensures that the solution is future-proof, secure, scalable, and manageable, and aligns with the enterprise architecture. In this role, they form the connecting link between business, development teams, infrastructure, security, and operations.
The architect possesses in-depth knowledge of cloud-native architectures, DevOps principles, security-by-design, and data integration within complex infrastructure and asset management environments.
What you do
Architecture.
- Design and maintain the technical architecture of the platform.
- Establish architecture principles, technical guidelines, and reference architectures.
- Translate functional and non-functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure integration with existing systems, GIS solutions, IoT platforms, and data platforms.
- Monitor architecture standards throughout the entire development cycle.
DevOps.
- Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD processes.
- Design automated deployment pipelines.
- Promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, ARM Templates, or similar tooling.
- Integrate monitoring, logging, and observability within the architecture.
- Support multidisciplinary DevOps teams with technical questions.
Security.
- Apply Security by Design and Zero Trust principles.
- Perform risk analyses and security assessments.
- Translate BIO, NIS2, ISO27001, and security guidelines into technical measures.
- Integrate IAM solutions, encryption, secrets management, and security monitoring.
- Guide penetration tests and security reviews.
Stakeholder Management.
- Sparring partner for Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, and Security Officers.
- Advise product owners, project managers, and management.
- Coordinate with suppliers and external partners.
- Present architecture choices to various target groups.
