Temporary replacement for an international organization.
- Experience with dismissal rounds and complex dismissal files is required.
- Thorough knowledge of Belgian social legislation is necessary.
- Recent experience as an HR Business Partner is a must.
- You will join a team of three HRBPs and support the Financial Services department.
- There is limited room for extensive onboarding; you must be able to take over files independently quickly.
What you do
- Guide dismissal files: assess the situation, prepare the file, advise managers, conduct discussions, and follow up.
- Individually support managers: regularly consult on their teams, discuss personnel questions, and coach during difficult conversations or decisions.
- Follow up on employees: discuss functioning, collaboration, development, and other individual HR questions.
- Profiling: work with managers on competencies, functioning, and the alignment between employees and their roles.
- Participate in management meetings: explain personnel files, provide advice, and follow up on agreed actions.
- Coordinate with recruitment: act as a sparring partner for managers on selection questions and internal mobility, without directly conducting recruitment processes.
What they ask
- Extensive experience as an operational HRBP.
- Independently guided dismissal processes and able to apply social legislation to personnel files.
- Ability to start quickly with a short handover, determine priorities, and follow up independently.
- Comfortable in discussions with employees, managers, and management, even when interests diverge.
- Fluent communication in Dutch and English.
- Good command of Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience within automotive or financial services is a plus.
