What you will do.

• Provide care for patients requiring both psychiatric and somatic support.
• Patient groups include those with psychosis, severe depression, eating disorders, or neuropsychiatric conditions.
• Tasks include daily care, administering medication via IV, stoma care, and supporting complex diagnostics.
• Close collaboration with psychiatrists, resident doctors, psychologists, sociotherapists, nurses, and occupational therapists.
• Assess patients' care needs and ensure safe and appropriate treatment with your colleagues.
• Coordinate unplanned admissions and psychiatric emergency care in the evenings and weekends.
• Maintain an overview, recognize changes in a patient's condition, and be able to switch quickly when the situation demands it.
• Broaden your experience in both psychiatric crisis care and somatic nursing technical care.

Your future workplace.

• The department consists of four units, each with its own patient group and dynamics.
• Unit A: a dynamic unit for moderately intensive somatic and psychiatric care, focused on recovery.
• Unit B: a closed unit with an emphasis on more intensive somatic care. You will treat patients with depression, neuropsychiatric conditions, or eating disorders, and patients receiving electroconvulsive therapy.
• Unit C: this unit focuses on patients in crisis, for example due to psychosis, severe depression, mania, or catatonia, including psychiatric intensive care.
• Mother-Baby Unit: here we care for mothers with psychological complaints after childbirth and their babies, following the Infant Mental Health methodology.
