For a specialized store, we are looking for a retoucher specializing in altering and adjusting wedding and evening dresses. As a retoucher, you ensure that customers can wear their dress perfectly fitted and with a beautiful finish.
What you do
- taking in and letting out wedding and evening dresses
- adjusting length, waist, bust, and shoulder areas
- placing and adjusting cups, fasteners, zippers
- refined finishing of lace, tulle, appliqués, and other delicate fabrics
- working according to the customer's wishes and fit
- precise pinning, fitting, and professional finishing
Profile
- experience with retouching wedding and/or evening dresses
- ability to work very precisely and independently
- feel for delicate fabrics and refined finishing
- eye for detail and quality
- customer-friendly and discreet
- have self-employed status or be willing to work as a freelancer
- experience in bridal fashion is a significant asset
