As a teacher (referred to as coach), you operate in a dynamic and challenging environment. You will work in an education-care trajectory for young people aged 12-23 who are experiencing educational dropout. During the trajectory, you quickly create a new future perspective for the young person.
You do this in close consultation with care colleagues and other network partners. Within the project, building relationships and connecting with each other are central. We work with young people who, for various reasons, cannot (temporarily) participate in regular or special education. In a trajectory of approximately one year, the disciplines of education and care work together with the young person on personal goals. In the classroom, guidance is present almost all day. This allows for efficient collaboration.
Frequent consultations take place between the disciplines, in which goals are evaluated and adjusted if necessary. In addition to the didactic aspect of education, great importance is attached to creating a safe pedagogical climate by applying a phase model.
