What you will do.
- You are responsible for managing, developing, further professionalizing, and positioning Institutional Research, Business Intelligence, and Data Analytics within the organization.
- You are responsible for both the strategic direction and the daily operations of the team.
- You stimulate collaboration and engage people in the possibilities of data.
- You bring business, technology, and stakeholders together, build support, and help translate complex issues into feasible and future-proof solutions.
- You organize the team efficiently and effectively and ensure a good division of labor.
- You focus on results and operate in a people-oriented manner, leading with trust and facilitating professional autonomy.
- You create a safe and stimulating work environment where professionals can take ownership.
- You promote knowledge sharing, collaboration, and continuous professionalization.
- You work closely with all departments to optimize your team's services.
- You position the Data, Analysis, and Insight team as a strategic partner for the executive board, management, and departments in the field of information provision and research.
- You act as a bridge builder between technology and the organization towards the Information & Technology department and the corporate information officer.
- You report to the director of the Education & Research department.
- As a member of the management team, you actively contribute to the strategic development of the department and the organization as a whole.
- You are responsible for one or more strategic portfolios within the management team.
What they ask
- Completed master's degree in a relevant field.
- Solid basic knowledge in business intelligence, data management, architecture, analysis, and data platforms, as well as research methods.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading highly educated professionals, preferably within higher education.
