Family Coach
Behind every front door lies a story. Sometimes full of love and hope, sometimes overshadowed by worries, stress, and complex problems. In families, children grow up in situations where an intellectual disability, psychological vulnerability, addiction, or debt dominate daily life. This is precisely where you make a difference. As a family coach, you bring calm, structure, and perspective.
With your professional insight and warm approach, you help parents regain control of their family and give children the chance to grow up safely. This is work that matters.
What you will do. As a family coach, you literally and figuratively step into the lives of families where parenting is under pressure. Parents often want to, but cannot do it alone. You help them break patterns, build trust, and regain control of their family.
- You guide and treat families at home according to a personalized treatment plan (IAG), in close collaboration with a behavioral scientist.
- You coach and motivate parents to address parenting and behavioral problems sustainably.
- You maintain intensive contact with chain partners such as youth care, mental health services, schools, and general practitioners.
- You monitor overview, progress, and documentation within your own caseload and the team.
You help parents create structure and calm in daily life: from going to school on time to a tidy home, from healthy meals to dealing with stress, anger, and administration. At the same time, you are the connecting link with other professionals around the family.
Profile
- Preferably, you have a post-HBO diploma in Intensive Ambulatory Family Treatment (IAG) or are willing to obtain it.
- You have several years of experience with ambulatory assistance within families.
- You have relevant work experience with complex family situations involving serious multiple problems.
- You are SKJ-registered and possess a valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).
- You are a Christian and can indicate what this means to you.
