Policy Officer Education Student Affairs

• Coordinate the implementation practice regarding compulsory education and preventing early school leaving.
• Represent the local implementation practice in regional policy teams and contribute to regional policy development and innovation.
• Translate national and regional policy developments into concrete proposals and applicable working methods for the local implementation practice.
• Develop, improve, and innovate work processes in the field of compulsory education and preventing early school leaving.
• Advise executive employees on the application of these work processes (functional guidance with an advisory character).
• Prepare reports and accountability documents, including the Annual Report Compulsory Education & RMC.
• Perform duties related to account management for a specific web platform.

What they ask

• Demonstrable work experience in translating national and/or regional policy developments into concrete working methods, proposals, or processes for implementation.
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable work experience as a policy officer for education/student affairs.
• Demonstrable work experience with issues concerning compulsory education and/or preventing early school leaving (VSV/RMC).
• A demonstrably completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level.

Wishes.

• Demonstrable work experience in developing, improving, or implementing work processes within the social domain or education.
• Minimum of 4 years of work experience as an education/student affairs policy officer at a municipal organization.
• Minimum of 1 year of demonstrable work experience with compulsory education and the transition point.
• Demonstrable work experience with regional cooperation and participation in regional policy or implementation consultations.
• Demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years in translating policy into concrete work processes or working methods for implementation.

• The prioritization of activities and evaluation of implementation are the responsibility of the team manager.
