A government organization is implementing a new Maintenance Management System (MMS) and a new Geographic Information System (GIS). Part of this implementation is the migration of asset, object, and geographic data from existing systems to the new solution.
What you do
- Integral quality assurance of processes, data, system integrations, and user acceptance
- Acting as an independent quality manager within the project
- Central point of contact for all testing activities
- Ensuring controlled implementation, reliable data migration, and well-prepared user acceptance
- Providing substantiated advice on the commissioning of new solutions
- Systematically setting up, guiding, and managing the testing process
- Validating the quality and coherence of asset registrations, geo-information, maintenance processes, data migrations, and links between MMS, GIS, and adjacent applications
- Integral validation of process, system, data, integrations, and user actions
What they ask
- Completed relevant HBO or WO education
- Minimum of three years of demonstrable experience as a test coordinator within complex ICT implementation projects
- Demonstrable experience with data quality and data migrations of asset, object, and/or geographic data
- Demonstrable experience with chain testing, where process, system, data, and integrations are tested in coherence
- Demonstrable experience with preparing and guiding user acceptance tests
- Demonstrable experience with validating the coherence between asset data, object registrations, geographic data, system links, and maintenance processes within an integrated MMS/GIS environment
- Experience with projects involving multiple suppliers
- Agreement with the stated secondment conditions
Preferences.
- Experience with at least one implementation of an MMS, EAM, or asset management system
- Experience with at least one implementation of a GIS solution
- Experience with translating test results into risks and concrete conditions for Go/No-Go
- Experience with working in agile/scrum project environments
- Experience with asset management and maintenance processes within municipalities, provinces, water boards, or other asset-intensive organizations, including inspecting, maintaining, planning
- Firm and independent: dares to be critical of results and quality
- Connecting and activating: can effectively bring users, workstreams, IM, and suppliers together for testing
- Pragmatic and decisive: can distinguish between what needs to be resolved before go-live, what is an acceptable risk, and what can be deferred for further development
