This role focuses on maintaining the daily process for the webshops of an e-commerce organization. The direction for new features is determined by management and commercial specialists; you are the process person who ensures agreements are met. You will work alongside an experienced Product Owner who has set up the roadmap, ticket model, and working method with the teams. You will gradually take over responsibility for the webshop side, while the app remains outside your scope.
What you will do.
- Gather wishes and bottlenecks from various departments (marketing, purchasing, customer service, logistics, management) and determine the order of topics on the roadmap.
- Write tickets for developers, including problem, desired outcome, acceptance criteria, and test agreements, following an existing model.
- Prepare and chair refinements and demos with the development teams.
- Monitor the scope, progress, and quality of releases.
- Arrange test windows, acceptance, and go-live, ensuring alignment between business and developers regarding deliverables.
- Maintain an overview of the status of topics, who is waiting for whom, and decisions made.
- Manage expectations between stakeholders (marketing, developers, management) and document outcomes.
Profile
- Minimum of three years of experience in e-commerce, in a role where you have brought projects from start to go-live (e.g., as a product owner, project manager, e-commerce manager, or implementation consultant).
- Experience with PIM rollout, replatforming, checkout redesigns, or marketplace integrations.
- Experience managing both internal development teams and external parties, without coding yourself.
- Able to engage in substantive discussions with developers about systems, integrations, and technical possibilities.
- Clear writing skills, ensuring tickets and decisions require no further questions.
- Strong in stakeholder communication, even when communicating limitations.
- Experience with AI tooling.
- Native level Dutch, English sufficient for discussions with international parties.
