Legal Quality Officer

DrentheHybrid32 hours/week3-6months

As a legal quality officer, you contribute to the legal quality of a team within a government organization. You advise colleagues on legal issues, review decisions and work processes, and ensure that the legal quality of implementation is sustainably guaranteed. You are an important sparring partner for colleagues and support them in applying laws and regulations in daily practice.

By timely identifying legal risks, improving processes, and sharing knowledge, you make a significant contribution to a professional, careful, and consistent execution of tasks. Additionally, you play an important role in the (informal) handling of objections. When an objection is filed, you contact the objector and investigate whether the dispute can be resolved through mutual consultation.

Based on your knowledge of general administrative law, the APV (General Local Ordinance), special laws, and environmental law, you support employees and the team manager with legal quality issues. You advise on the legal consequences of developments in implementation practice and contribute to the further professionalization of the team. In doing so, you translate laws and regulations and established policy into work processes, protocols, work instructions, and practical tools for colleagues.

This involves replacing a permanent employee and is therefore an embedded function with side-by-side activities under guidance and supervision.
