Mediation Officer Pedagogical Coach

What you do

As a mediation officer/pedagogical coach, you are the link between parents, host parents, and the host parent agency. You guide the entire mediation process and ensure that families and host parents are a good match. In this combined role, you combine guidance, coaching, and mediation within host parent childcare. You support parents and host parents, ensure the right matches, and actively contribute to the quality and development of childcare.

  • Conducting intake, coaching, and evaluation interviews.
  • Guiding and supporting parents and host parents.
  • Observing children at the host parent's home and contributing to their development.
  • Matching supply and demand within childcare.
  • Performing home visits and observations.
  • Providing training, webinars, and education.
  • Administrative processing of files and agreements.
  • Monitoring quality requirements and laws and regulations.
  • Providing training, webinars, and education to host parents and parents.
  • Actively contributing to policies, ideas, and initiatives that strengthen the quality of host parent childcare.

What they ask

  • Minimum of an MBO 4 Pedagogy diploma.
  • A structured way of working and strong organizational skills.
  • Work experience in a group or within childcare/host parent childcare.
  • Experience with guiding or coaching professionals, with good communication skills to work in a coaching and supportive manner.
  • Affinity with the development of young children and the professional growth of host parents.
  • Enthusiasm to collaborate and actively contribute to the quality of the organization.
  • Possession of a car.
  • A good dose of conviviality, enthusiasm, and drive.
