What you do
- You are responsible for occupational health advice and guidance for employees and employers regarding absenteeism, reintegration, and preventive issues.
- You conduct medical assessments and investigate factors influencing the health and employability of employees.
- This includes looking not only at the medical situation but also at working conditions, lifestyle, psychosocial stress, and any private factors that play a role in absenteeism.
- Based on your findings, you formulate clear and well-substantiated advice that contributes to recovery, sustainable employability, and successful reintegration.
- You think in terms of possibilities, encourage self-management, and support employees in taking appropriate steps towards resuming work.
- You work under the supervision of an experienced occupational physician and are part of a multidisciplinary team.
- You collaborate intensively with case managers and practice assistants, among others.
- There is always room to discuss complex cases and to further develop yourself within the field.
Profile
- You have a completed Master's degree in Medicine.
- You possess a valid BIG registration.
- You have an affinity with occupational health services and/or occupational medicine.
- You possess strong communication skills and can easily switch between different interlocutors.
- You are analytical, engaged, and think in terms of possibilities and solutions.
