An organization within the energy sector is looking for an experienced Business Delivery Specialist who will be responsible for the coordination, progress, and successful delivery of business activities within a comprehensive SAP migration program. The migration to a renewed SAP environment requires not only technical realization but also strong direction on the business side.
You ensure that business consultants, migration leads, and analysts collaborate effectively and collectively work towards agreed-upon results. You bring structure and overview, monitor dependencies and risks, and encourage ownership within the team. Additionally, you play an important role in aligning business, IT, and program management, and you support portfolio management within the chain.
What you will do.
- Organize, coordinate, and monitor business activities within the SAP migration program.
- Lead and coordinate business consultants, migration leads, and analysts.
- Bring structure, direction, and coherence to the business activities of the SAP migration.
- Establish and monitor plans, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Monitor progress, quality, and timely delivery of results.
- Identify and manage risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies.
- Encourage ownership, collaboration, and results-orientation within multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure good alignment between business, development teams, and other involved stakeholders.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, and Release Train Engineers (RTE's).
- Monitor agreements made and escalate or adjust in a timely manner where necessary.
- Support the Product Manager in portfolio management within the chain.
- Provide portfolio reports, progress information, and administrative recording.
- Support the preparation and execution of the budget process.
- Create transparency about the progress and coherence of business and IT activities.
- Maintain contacts with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
- Ensure clear communication, expectation management, and effective decision-making.
Profile
- HBO or university level of work and thinking.
- Minimum 5 years of experience within complex change, implementation, or migration programs.
- Demonstrable experience in leading or coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with stakeholder management at various organizational levels.
- Affinity with Agile working and collaboration with development teams.
- Experience with planning, progress monitoring, and risk management.
- Experience with monitoring dependencies and results within complex programs.
- Able to effectively connect business and IT activities.
