• Restructures and strengthens the existing AI Steering Group, clarifies roles, responsibilities
• Positions and describes the role of the CAICO within the organization
• Establishes a sustainable consultation and decision-making structure and strengthens the connection between the AI Steering Group, AI Working Group, and CIO function
• Develops the existing policy draft into a supported AI vision and establishes an AI policy framework suitable for information provision
• Incorporates relevant laws and regulations (GDPR, BIO, AI Act) and develops an approach for responsible and safe use of AI
• Guides the setup of functional management for Microsoft Copilot and develops processes for change management, user support
• Prepares the management organization for future deployment of AI agents and defines management roles and responsibilities
• Advises on the setup of an OTAP environment for AI development (in particular AI agents) and guides the setup of development, test, acceptance, and production environments
• Establishes guidelines for the development, management, and use of AI agents and supports the first pilots
• Stimulates collaboration with other water authorities, inventories relevant AI initiatives and reusable solutions
• Promotes knowledge exchange within the water authority domain and explores the role of a water authority collaboration in AI development
• Advises on developments around Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI agents, and licensing models
• Translates new possibilities into applicable solutions and supports decision-making on further scaling up

• Extensive experience with strategic and tactical IT advice within (semi-)public organizations
• Demonstrable knowledge of cloud strategies, sourcing models, and IT infrastructure
• The ability to translate complex issues into administratively manageable choices
• An independent, critical, and results-oriented work attitude
• Experience with similar projects within government or semi-government organizations
• Preferably, affinity with or knowledge of the context of water authorities
• Administratively sensitive, connecting, results-oriented, visionary, organizationally sensitive
• Strong communication skills, independent and proactive
• Able to translate complex developments into practical solutions
