You provide practical lessons to technical students and employees from the (process) industry.
What you do
- You are responsible for the development and management of your course material.
- You continuously train yourself and stay in touch with companies through company visits and by following the latest trends and developments.
- You act as a contact person with important stakeholders in your field and share your expertise.
- You reach agreements and consultations to align your course offerings with demand.
Profile
Education.
- Technical bachelor's or master's degree in mechatronics or electromechanical maintenance technology.
Experience.
- Several years of professional experience in a process environment.
- Knowledge of rotating equipment, drive techniques, and their applications.
Skills.
- Sufficient insight into the subject matter to clearly translate theory into practice.
- Broad, general interest in technology and automation, and willingness to learn.
- Proficient in communication, both written and oral.
- Creative and enjoys thinking about new opportunities within your field.
Nice-to-haves.
- Didactic experience.
- Affinity with process safety and operational safety.
- Fluent in English.
