An experienced ERP Transformation Program Manager is sought for a large higher education institution for an extensive and multi-year change program. The current integrated ERP landscape for HR, Finance, and Procurement will be phased out and replaced by a composable landscape where different domains are separately tendered and implemented. The challenge lies in coherence, with different domains being in various phases and the existing landscape remaining operational.
As a program manager, you will have integral control over this transformation, monitor coherence, and ensure that the sub-projects collectively achieve the intended change.
What you will do.
- Establish and monitor the integral roadmap for HR, Finance
- Manage multiple parallel and interdependent sub-projects
- Coordinate and direct project managers within the program
- Manage planning, scope, capacity, risks
- Ensure business continuity during migrations and go-lives
- Coordinate European tender processes in collaboration with Procurement and Legal Affairs
- Chair the program team and organize decision-making on cross-domain issues
- Report and advise the steering committee and senior management
- Manage the phased unbundling of the existing ERP landscape and temporary links between old and new
- Ensure coherence between system implementations, process innovation, and future service delivery models
- Drive organizational change, communication, training, adoption
- Coordinate with Enterprise Architecture, Privacy, and Security, among others
- Manage external suppliers and implementation partners
- Continuously provide insight into progress, risks, capacity, and technical feasibility
What they ask
- A completed university degree in fields such as business administration, information policy, information management
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in similar program or transformation management roles
- Proven experience leading complex, large-scale ERP transformations or organization-wide system implementations
- Experience with integral management of multiple projects and project managers
- Demonstrable experience with European tender processes, preferably within HR, Finance, and/or Procurement
- Experience with complex administrative governance and advising at board and steering committee level
- Knowledge of architectural frameworks and PSA's
- Experience with organization-wide change processes where processes, roles, behavior, and technology converge
- Experience managing external suppliers and implementation partners
- Experience with employee participation, co-determination, and change communication
Preferences.
- Experience with HORA architecture and ERP programs within higher education
