In the role of O&P advisor at a government organization, you will advise approximately 10 to 12 managers within your account as a sparring partner/business partner. You will ensure the application of the overarching O&P policy within your account, which consists of a department manager and several team managers. Within a government organization, we work with an account model: within an account - often a directorate - 1 director and several advisors collaborate on O&P challenges of the directorate.
The starting point is that the organization remains a great place to work. You contribute to this by making the right O&P topics discussable at the right time and proactively advancing them. With your expertise as an O&P advisor, you bring added value, both for management and your O&P colleagues. In the role of O&P advisor, you are independently responsible for the application of the overarching O&P policy within your own account. Additionally, you actively contribute to organization-wide O&P developments.
What you do
- Advising management: you are a sparring partner for managers and support them with a wide range of issues. This includes strategic personnel planning, absenteeism/sustainable employability, labor law issues, and learning and development trajectories. Attend MT meetings as an O&P professional and have regular update meetings with the managers you advise and support.
- Safeguarding O&P frameworks: you monitor compliance with O&P policy and ensure consistent application within your account.
- Continuous development: You contribute to the thinking and working on substantive organization-wide O&P themes.
What they ask
- Minimum of 6 years demonstrable experience as an HR advisor, substantiated with concrete projects and role description in CV or motivation.
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrable experience within a political administrative organization.
Preferences.
- Demonstrable experience with hands-on O&P advising.
- Demonstrable experience as a management advisor.
- Demonstrable experience within a government organization.
