As an Assistant Store Manager, you contribute daily to an optimal shopping experience. You ensure that processes run smoothly, colleagues are satisfied, and the store meets customer wishes. You create a safe environment and are given space to develop the store commercially. The goal is a commercial and clean store with an engaged team.
What you will do. You will be responsible for one of two specializations:
- Process & Goods Processing: Leading this department to ensure a well-stocked and clean store through well-organized processes.
- Customer & Commerce: Focusing on the commercial plan and aligning the store with customer needs, including leading the fresh and checkout departments.
You work with your team to achieve goals, celebrate successes, and inspire colleagues to think independently about their department and the store. You encourage personal initiative and collaborative problem-solving.
Profile
- Develop team members and foster collaboration for a pleasant working atmosphere.
- Ensure the branch achieves set goals regarding revenue, shrinkage, and customer and employee satisfaction.
- Empower colleagues and utilize their talents, for example, by involving them in the store's social media.
- Be entrepreneurial, identify and seize opportunities, such as adding local products or contributing to neighborhood initiatives.
- Provide operational support to the team to identify needs.
- Responsible for optimal team staffing, including development interviews and recruitment of new colleagues.
