We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in capital markets and asset management, particularly in post-trade processing and settlement operations. The candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, analysing settlement workflows, documenting functional specifications, and collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
What you will do.
- Lead requirements gathering and analysis for post-trade processes, including settlement workflows, trade matching, confirmations, and exception handling.
- Engage with business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology teams to understand business needs and define functional requirements.
- Translate business requirements into clear and structured functional specifications.
- Identify process gaps, business challenges, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Develop use cases, business process flows, and functional documentation.
- Create Entity-Relationship (ER) models and document business data requirements.
- Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Specifications (FRSs), and other relevant project documentation.
- Document current-state and future-state processes and recommend improvements to streamline post-trade operations.
- Analyse and document end-to-end post-trade processing and settlement workflows.
- Support business analysis for trade matching, confirmation processing, settlement instructions, and exception management.
- Work closely with settlement operations and asset management teams to ensure business requirements are accurately captured.
- Support the resolution of process gaps and functional issues affecting post-trade operations.
- Collaborate with business users, operations teams, developers, QA teams, and other project stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and stakeholder discussions.
- Support functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and business validation.
- Ensure delivered solutions align with approved business requirements and operational expectations.

Profile
- 10+ years of overall professional experience.
- Approximately 8–11+ years of relevant Business Analyst experience in post-trade, settlement operations, or capital markets.
- Demonstrated experience working with capital markets or asset management business functions.
