As a functional application administrator, you are the point of contact for incidents, changes, and innovative management of medical applications within a government organization. You work in an Agile team and maintain contact with various stakeholders.
What you will do.
- Ensure the availability and continuity of medical information systems.
- Independently handle incidents and disruptions, including problem analysis, proposing solutions and/or workarounds, and implementing them.
- Manage applications developed and/or maintained externally.
- Contribute to (impact) analyses of functional changes, facilitate their development, and perform system and user tests.
- Maintain intensive contact with colleagues from technical management, other departments, and suppliers.
- Collaborate in an Agile team: coordinate with direct colleagues during daily stand-ups, weekly meetings, and retrospectives, and support colleagues where possible.

- Adaptable in a dynamic and changing environment.
What they ask
- HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level (preferably a completed degree in ICT or IV).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a (functional) application administrator.
- Knowledge and experience with SaaS solutions, including integrations, links, and certificates.
- Experience in a coordinating role, maintaining an overview and liaising between suppliers, users, and other stakeholders.
- Proficient in analyzing and resolving user problems.
- Experience in drafting manuals and advice.
- Experience in translating customer requirements or laws and regulations into system adjustments.
Preferences.
- Knowledge and experience with medical applications (e.g., HiX, XpertSuite, Exquise Next Gen, and iLES).
- Experience with Agile working (SAFe).
- Experience within the (semi-)government sector.
Practical
- A security screening may be part of the selection procedure.
- A reference check and assessment may be part of the selection procedure.
- Candidates must originate from a country within the European Economic Area, or possess a combined permit for residence and work (GVVA).
