You will apply your nursing expertise in a versatile and independent role where triage, collaboration, and direct care converge.
- The assignment is temporary, for a period of 6 months to one year.
- You will work for a healthcare organization dedicated to providing a meaningful life for people with disabilities in the Central Netherlands.
- A health center provides care to residents of neighborhoods and clients in the region.
What you do
- Assesses care requests by phone using clinical reasoning and quickly determines what is needed.
- Performs technical, complex, and reserved nursing procedures at clients' homes and at the health center.
- Advises colleagues, relatives, and other disciplines; acts as a contact nurse for multiple residences.
- Provides training and instruction on high-risk procedures to supervisors.
- Collaborates closely with various care disciplines and responds effectively to urgent situations.
- Works irregular shifts and contributes to scheduling.
- Works with humor and calm in a dynamic and varied work environment.
What they ask
- An mbo-V or hbo-V diploma and a valid BIG registration.
- Experience or affinity with people with intellectual and/or physical disabilities.
- Strong communication skills and an independent, professional attitude.
- Flexibility and decisiveness, even in unexpected situations.
- A valid driving license B is a plus.
