You independently carry out a defined advisory assignment in the field of strategic environmental management and communication within a specific area development.
- You work based on your own expertise and professional autonomy, delivering concrete, verifiable results.
- You do not fulfill a role within the line organization and do not take over structural tasks assigned within the organization.
- You are responsible for the end result, not for internal processes or line activities.
- You are not part of the administrative organization and there is no hierarchical management.
- You do not participate in regular internal meetings, unless necessary for the agreed-upon result.
- You have no personnel responsibility, do not manage the client's employees, and are not responsible for internal decision-making.
- You independently determine the approach, planning, and execution of the work.
- You can, after prior notification, be replaced by an equally qualified professional.
- You use your own resources.
- Work is based on result obligations, not on hours worked or presence.
What you do
- An elaborated strategic plan of approach for stakeholder management and communication for the area development.
- A plan for contribution to a specific event/project.
- Written strategic advice on integrating interests, developments, and initiatives from external parties influencing the area development.
- Concretely delivered products in the field of environmental management, participation, branding, and placemaking.
What they ask
- Demonstrable completed education at a minimum of university level.
- Minimum of 10 years (from 2014) demonstrable relevant experience as a strategic advisor at executive level.
- Minimum of 10 years (from 2014) demonstrable relevant experience in strategic environmental management.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience with complex area developments within a government context.
- Demonstrable experience (from 2023) with area assignments > 5,000 homes.
- Demonstrable experience with transformation assignments from business parks to residential areas.
Preferences.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role with political and administrative processes within a government organization with >150,000 inhabitants.
- Very extensive experience in achieving results at executive and strategic levels.
- Demonstrable relevant background in a specific region.
