Client Manager Social Benefits

• You support residents within the Participation Act in an effective manner.
• You strengthen their stability, improve their financial situation, and offer perspective.
• You listen carefully, ask targeted questions, and explain clearly what needs to be done.
• You advise on changes, look beyond benefits, and refer when necessary.
• You contribute to the lawful execution of laws and regulations while keeping an eye on what is feasible.
• You make decisions that directly influence the income and daily lives of residents.
• You maintain an overview in sometimes complex situations, adjust when necessary, and ensure that agreements are met.

Activities.

• Conducting conversations about legality, efficiency, personal situations, and development.
• Assessing and processing changes in benefits.
• Determining next steps and providing clear and appropriate advice.
• Processing mutations for clients without a fixed caseload.
• Participating in projects to improve service delivery and acting as a reliable point of contact.

• You have a strong commitment to the client.
• You listen attentively, communicate clearly, and are aware of different cultures.
• In difficult conversations, you remain firm and ask the right questions, quickly building trust.
• You stay calm under pressure, adapt quickly, and know how to energize and motivate others.
• With your sense of tact, you always find a good balance between what the resident needs and what the organization can offer.

• You dare to be creative and think outside the rules with justification if it helps the client.

What they ask

• Demonstrable HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level through education and/or work experience.
• Recent knowledge (from 2022) of laws and regulations, specifically the Participation Act.
• Demonstrable experience working with the Suite application.
• Demonstrable relevant experience as a client manager for social benefits or income consultant at a public organization.
• You are expected to work at least 50% on-site.

Preferences.

• Demonstrable experience as a client manager or income consultant at a public organization.
