VIC Disability Care Support Worker
As a VIC support worker, you guide clients who require significant support in their daily functioning. You create a clear, safe, and predictable living environment, where peace and structure are central. By carefully observing behavior, acting calmly, and offering appropriate help, you contribute to the clients' development and encourage them to do as much as possible themselves.
You will work with groups ranging from individuals with mild intellectual disabilities (LVB) to those with severe multiple disabilities (MVG/EMB).
What you do
- Guide clients requiring significant support in their daily functioning
- Ensure a clear, safe, and predictable living environment
- Observe behavior and act calmly
- Offer appropriate help to stimulate development
- Encourage clients to be as self-reliant as possible
- Support daily activities and relaxing/social moments (cooking, activities, conversations)
Profile
- Minimum MBO 4 diploma in a relevant field
- A valid or obtainable VOG (Certificate of Conduct) (costs reimbursed after first service)
Practical
- Option for a fixed work schedule or flexible deployment
- Direct contract with the care institution with the possibility of a permanent contract
