Information Management Advisor

What you will do. As an Information Management Advisor, you advise on the setup, improvement, and continuous development of information management. You translate laws and regulations into practical applications and guide organizations in digitization, implementation of document management or case systems, and ensuring sustainable accessibility and compliance. This role is characterized by a wide diversity of assignments for various organizations within the public sector.
You will be part of a team of passionate professionals who strengthen each other intellectually and enjoy sharing knowledge.
Specifically, this means you will:
- advise on the setup, optimization, and continuous development of information management, both within specific work processes and organization-wide
- analyze processes, information flows, and the maturity level of organizations and translate them into concrete advice, implementation plans, and process improvements
- guide digitization projects, including the implementation and improvement of Document Management Systems (DMS), case systems, and other information provisions
- identify risks in the field of information management, compliance, and information security and advise on appropriate measures
- stimulate knowledge sharing and actively share your knowledge through workshops and training sessions
- identify professional developments and make suggestions for innovative working methods

Profile
- Academic working and thinking level, preferably with a degree in Information Science, Archival Science, or Information Management
- Minimum of two years of experience in information management, preferably in the public sector
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and normative frameworks
- Strong communication and advisory skills; you translate complex matters into clear actions, keep stakeholders engaged, and can express yourself excellently in Dutch, both orally and in writing
- Analytical ability and persuasiveness
- A results-oriented, proactive attitude with an eye for quality
- Ambition to develop yourself and the field further
