As a teacher for an intake group 4/5, you offer children with unique support needs the opportunity to flourish. You create a safe, stimulating learning environment where every child feels seen, heard, and accepted, and experiences success. Together with your colleagues, you will further build a strong program in which students grow in independence, social skills, and future prospects.

What you will do.

• Guide and support students with complex educational and support needs, with an eye for both their cognitive and socio-emotional development.
• Create a safe and positive pedagogical climate, in which students feel seen, heard, and accepted.
• Develop and implement appropriate education, tailored to the possibilities, educational needs, and development goals of each student.
• Observe, analyze, and evaluate the development of students and translate this into concrete educational and guidance goals.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals, such as internal supervisors, behavioral scientists, support staff, and external partners.
• Maintain a professional collaboration with parents/guardians and actively involve them in their child's development.
• Contribute to a professional and learning school culture, where we collectively take responsibility for good education and the development of our students.
