Design and review electrical and instrumentation designs for offshore energy projects. You will prepare diagrams, layouts, specifications, and work documents during the engineering and FEED phases. The core of your assignment involves precise electrical and instrumentation design in an offshore design environment, including input for platform and plant layouts. You will collaborate closely with engineers from other disciplines and ensure all deliverables comply with professional guidelines and quality policy.
You will work for a specialized engineering and consultancy firm in the offshore energy sector. This firm focuses on designing and engineering offshore platforms and related installations, active in both traditional energy and the energy transition. The organization handles multidisciplinary engineering projects where electrical engineering, instrumentation, piping, mechanical, and structural design converge.

What you do
- Prepare and maintain electrical and instrumentation diagrams and layouts
- Provide input for platform or plant layouts and infrastructure in Concept and FEED projects
- Review and set up specifications and maintain libraries
- Make choices regarding components and materials
- Define and execute electrical design and instrument design
- Coordinate and collaborate with piping, mechanical, and structural disciplines
- Organize your own work to meet project objectives
- Provide deliverables such as drawings, diagrams, MTOs, lists
- Ensure compliance with quality requirements using workflow software
- Review your own work and the work of others
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues throughout the entire engineering phase

- Fully aware of specifications, materials, and design rules in electrical and instrumentation disciplines
- Knowledge of high-voltage installations and process installations is a plus
- HBO degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
