HR Advisor

South HollandHybrid36 hours/week<3months

The HR department of an organization is undergoing significant development. A solid foundation has been laid, expertise has been established, processes improved, and the first steps taken towards renewed HR service delivery. The next phase requires HR professionals who are proactive, leverage opportunities to make an impact, are visible within the organization, and collaborate with colleagues to build integrated services.

What you do

As an HR advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for your organizational units and an independent sparring partner for managers. You will advise a maximum of ten managers, allowing you time to truly get to know them and their teams, and to build sustainable advisory relationships. You understand what is happening within teams and departments and translate developments into appropriate HR advice and interventions.

You advise managers on the development of their organizational unit and support them with tactical organizational and personnel issues, such as organizational development, strategic workforce planning, capacity issues, leadership development, and change initiatives. Additionally, you guide managers through complex individual personnel matters and ensure the careful application of laws, regulations, and HR policy. You take ownership of issues within your organizational units.

You manage progress, connect various interests, and ensure that the right expertise is involved at the right time. You work intensively with HR colleagues and other business operations disciplines, such as Business Control, Procurement, and Finance. Together, you form a multidisciplinary client team that provides integrated support to managers on organizational and business operations issues.

The role consists of approximately 80% regular HR service delivery: daily advice and support for managers within the assigned organizational units. The remaining approximately 20% of your time is dedicated to projects and broader HR development initiatives.
