Casemanager Violence Against Employees

• Independently handle the claim for damages by the injured party (employee) in criminal proceedings against the suspect, in accordance with the implementation protocol.
• Maintain contact with the involved employee.
• Responsible for drafting the claim for damages.
• Attend criminal court hearings against the suspect, explain the claim, answer questions, and provide legal defense.
• Guide colleagues who attend court hearings.
• Provide feedback to the employee about the criminal case.
• Act as a network partner and maintain contact with the Public Prosecution Service, personal injury lawyers, and other relevant parties.
• Maintain contact with internal stakeholders, such as the team leader of the injured colleague.
• Manage the files until the criminal case is irrevocable and the perpetrator has paid the imposed compensation.
• Monitor and administratively process all incidents in the national registration system, even when an employee does not suffer damage.
• Potentially hold the perpetrator civilly liable if the claim for damages was unexpectedly declared partially or wholly inadmissible during the criminal case.
• Advise the competent authority on the joinder procedure and give presentations on this.
• Monitor deadlines in the settlement of the criminal case.
• Ensure awareness of the supportive role of the casemanager within the unit.
• Identify bottlenecks in the process and fulfill a mediating role.
