Personal Support Worker Adults

Are you a committed support worker and want to work in disability care? At our residential location, you guide clients with visual and intellectual disabilities, and sometimes a mild physical disability. You provide daily care and support to adults who need assistance with living and daily life. Come strengthen our team as a Personal Support Worker!
What you will do.
- You will work in a friendly care team of approximately 15 colleagues.
- Together, you ensure a safe and pleasant living environment for the clients.
- There are always a number of clients present at the residential location.
- Residents also attend day activities.
- You will work independently during day shifts.
- In the evening, you will work with three or four colleagues.
- As a level 4 support worker, you will also perform sleep shifts, usually a maximum of 2 per week.
- Together with your colleagues, you ensure continuity and a familiar environment for the clients.
Your tasks include.
- Guiding adult clients with visual and intellectual disabilities. Some clients also have a mild physical disability.
- Assisting with daily care (ADL support), when necessary or desired.
- Ensuring a pleasant and calm living environment, with great attention to structure, safety, and stimulating independence.
- Observing clients and signaling changes or bottlenecks.
- Reporting in the client file and executing the client plan.
- Working with the Triple-C method. If you are not yet familiar with this, we will teach you this methodology for professional client support within disability care.

- A completed MBO education (Personal Support Worker) Social Care level 4. A level 3 diploma with ambition is also welcome.
- An independent work attitude and the courage to take initiative.
- Good communication skills.
- The ability to adapt your guidance style to the needs and level of the client.
- Flexibility to work in a varying schedule, both weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to work different shifts.
- Willingness to perform sleep shifts. As a level 4 support worker, you will perform 1 to 2 sleep shifts per week with your colleagues.

- A one-year contract with the intention to convert it into an indefinite contract after one year.
- Structural salary increase of 2% on November 1, 2026.
